The timeliness of your data depends on several individual factors, including the landscape of your merchant systems and your data infrastructure. Below is a selection of possible measures.
- Check the update frequency of your feed file. The more frequently you update the feed, the faster idealo can detect and adopt changes.
- The update of offer data may not occur in the system from which the feed file for idealo is created. In this case, check the complete route from the source system of the update to the system where the feed file is created.
- Inquire with your technical provider(s) for your merchant system(s) about the possibilities to maximize the update frequency. Depending on where and through which systems the offer data are updated, this can include your PIM, ERP, shop, plugin, or multi-channel system providers.
- For large feed files that take a long time to update and/or if offer updates in your shop occur very frequently, switching to our PWS 2.0 API or a merchant solution with API connection might be worthwhile. We are happy to advise you on this.
