An offer may not be displayed on idealo for various reasons. Here are a few examples:
Incorrect Price
The price submitted for the offer does not match the one in your shop.
Different Delivery Time
The delivery time submitted for the offer does not match the one in your shop.
Items Blocked by idealo
It is possible that certain items must be blocked for legal reasons. This may occur if prohibited products or items with patented names are offered in the feed. As legal regulations are constantly changing, you can contact us via email at tam@idealo.de to receive specific reasons.
Example:
According to §3 Sections 4 and 4a of the Medical Devices Dispensing Regulation (MPAV), professional COVID tests may only be dispensed to the professional groups listed there. If you wish to sell a professional COVID test (not "COVID-19 rapid tests" for self-testing), we must remove it from our price comparison.
Items Not Displayed Due to Incorrect Data
Always adhere to our requirements to display your offers in the data feed. If these are not met, our system may be unable to read the data. Some offers or the entire inventory might then not be displayed.
Example:
A common error source is submitting an incorrect delivery time, such as "Availability upon request" or "Unknown delivery date." These values are suboptimal/invalid and may be filtered out by idealo. Consequently, your offers would not be visible in the price comparison. A valid delivery time would be, for example: "1-3 business days."
